The San Luis Valley Healthcare Coalition has compiled the following information for coalition member organizations and their designated Public Information Officers who wish to pursue additional training in this field to further their capacity to respond and support the health and medical efforts of the San Luis Valley Region during an emergency.
Per the 2021-2022 SOW, “The Contractor shall implement a training plan to provide PIO training.” and Deliverable #29 “The Contractor shall submit the PIO training plan.”

Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication (CERC)
“Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication (CERC) training can help responders and public health professionals prepare to communicate in an emergency.
